IL-9 (Interleukin 9)
- Animal-derived product free
- Lyophilized and Carrier Free (CF)
- High Activity
Xeno-free IL-9HuXp is expressed from human 293 cells as a glycoprotein monomer with apparent molecular mass of 38 to 48 kDa. IL-9 is produced in a human cell expression system with serum-free, chemically defined media. It stimulates cell proliferation and also prevents apoptosis. IL-9 acts as a regulator for a variety of hematopoietic cells. It enhances the expansion and recruitment of mast cells and eosinophils. This cytokine is greater than 95% pure.
- Species: Human
- Expression: HEK293 Cell Expressed
- Activity: Typically ≤ 1 ng/mL EC50
- Purity: >95%
- Endotoxin: <1 EU/μg
- Molecular Mass: 38 to 48 kDa, monomer, glycosylated
- Formulation: 1x PBS
The protein was resolved by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.
The activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of human MO7e cells (human megakaryoblastic leukemia cell line).
Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA).
