Recombinant Human IL-10 (Interleukin 10)

Product Description:

  • Endotoxin-free
  • Animal-derived product free
  • Lyophilized and Carrier Free (CF)
  • High Activity
  • Authentic Glycosylation

Xeno-free Recombinant Human IL-10HuXp is expressed in human 293 cells as a non-covalent homodimeric glycoprotein with an apparent molecular mass of 17 kDa. This cytokine is produced in a serum-free, chemically defined media. IL-10 is produced by a variety of mammalian cell types which includes T cells, B cells, macrophages, and keratinocytes monocytes. It is an anti-inflammatory cytokine with multiple, pleiotropic effects in inflammation and immunoregulation. Glycosylation contributes to stability in cell growth media and other applications. The cytokine is greater than 95% pure.

Technical Specifications:

  • Species: Human
  • Expression: HEK293 Cell Expressed
  • Activity: Typically ≤1.5ng/mL EC50
  • Purity: >95%
  • Endotoxin: <1 EU/μg
  • Molecular Mass: 17 kDa, non-disulfide bonded homodimer, glycosylated
  • Formulation: 10mM Tris-HCl pH 7.4 + 150mM NaCl

Purity Confirmation:

The protein was resolved by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.

Activity Assay:

The activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of MC/9 cells (mouse mast cell line) in the presence of 200 pg/mL IL-4.

Reconstitution Buffer:

Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA).
