Products : Recombinant Human IL-12
Recombinant Human IL-12 (Interleukin 12)
- Animal-derived product free
- Available in Bulk
- Lyophilized and Carrier Free (CF)
- Expressed as Disulfide-linked Heterodimer
- Authentic Glycosylation
Xeno-free Recombinant Human IL-12HuXp is expressed in human 293 cells as a heterodimeric cytokine composed of two glycosylated and disulfide-linked subunits (p40 cysteine-linked to p35). Production in human 293 cells uses a serum-free, chemically defined media and offers authentic glycosylation. IL-12 is a potent regulator of cell mediated immune responses and it induces IFN-gamma production by NK and T cells. It is produced by activated monocytes/macrophage cells, B lymphocytes, and connective tissue type mast cells.
- Species: Human
- Expression: HEK293 Cell Expressed
- Activity: Typically ≤2 ng/mL EC50
- Purity: >95%
- Endotoxin: <1 EU/μg
- Molecular Mass: 57 kDa, heterodimer, glycosylated
- Formulation: 1x PBS
The protein was resolved by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.
The activity was determined by the dose-dependent release of IFN-gamma from the human NK92 cell line in presence of 20 ng/mL rIL-2.
Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA).
