Recombinant Human FGF-Basic TS™ (Fibroblast Growth Factor, Thermostable)
- Animal-derived product free
- Available in Bulk
- Lyophilized and Carrier Free (CF)
Recombinant human FGFbasic-TS™ is expressed in human 293 cells. FGFbasic is a heparin-binding growth factor and critical for human embryonic stem cells to remain in an undifferentiated state during cell culture. FGFbasic-TS™ is a protein engineered FGFbasic to enchance its thermo- stability without modification of biological function. FGFbasic-TS™ consists of 154 amino acids as a 17 kDa, non-glycosylated monomer.
- Species: Human
- Expression: HEK293 Cell Expressed
- Activity: Typically ≤0.5 ng/mL EC50
- Purity: >95%
- Endotoxin: <1 EU/µg
- Molecular Mass: 17 kDa, monomer, non-glycosylated
- Formulation: 1x PBS
The protein was resolved by SDS- polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.
The activity was determined by the dose- dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the Balb/c 3T3 cell line.
Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA).
