We are recruiting regional sales managers for the key East Coast and Central US regions. The company is in the formative stages of a direct selling strategy and is looking for experienced sales people. The company is flexible in terms of compensation and travel. We are looking for individuals to be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned territory.
Our Regional Sales Managers will be responsible for the usual sales activities and duties: plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the territory, supports customers and monitors competitive activity and market trends, and develops sales strategy for the territory that ensures attainment of company sales goals. Also prepares action plans for effective development of sales leads, and prospects, initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new accounts.
Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline, Molecular Biology or Biochemistry preferred. At least 1 year experience in a similar sales role in the life science industry, with a proven track record of sales success is required. Strong communication skills as well as analytical, project management, business development and planning skills are necessary. Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and previous experience in the specified territory is preferred.
