Pro IGF-II (Recombinant Human)
- Animal-derived product free
- Available in Bulk
- High Stability
Xeno-free pro-IGF-IIHuXp is expressed in human 293 cells as a monomeric glycoprotein with an apparent molecular mass of 25 kDa. Glycosylation contributes to stability in cell growth media and other applications. IGF-II expressed in E. coli is typically 7.5 kDa and nonglycosylated. This cytokine is produced in a human cell expression system with serum-free, chemically defined media.

The protein was resolved by SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and the gel was stained with Coomassie blue.
The activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of MCF-7 cells (human breast cancer cell line).
Briefly centrifuge the vial before opening. It is recommended to reconstitute the protein in sterile 1xPBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin (HSA).
